UPDATE: I was just reminded that Alpine Shop won Thunder Rolls and is sitting at 280 points. They're at the Berryman Adventure this weekend. If they win and both CPZ and EMS crash and burn at Bushwhack they'd tie Checkpoint Zero/Inov-8 on points at 380.

The overall points winner of the Checkpoint Tracker Adventure Racing Series presented by Inov-8 will be decided this weekend at the Bushwhack Adventure Race in Raleigh, NC.

Checkpoint Zero/Inov-8 is presently sitting in 1st place with 380 points. They're up against Eastern Mountain Sports, who finished the 2008 Series in 2nd place. EMS is in 7th with an even 300 points.

A win will put either team at a perfect 400 points for the year and clinch the Series.

If neither team takes first place, EMS will have to finish in the top 3 and ahead of Checkpoint Zero/Inov-8 to win the 2009 Series.
