As many of you already know, the Land Between the Lakes was hammered by the recent ice storm and is currently closed to the public. We have received an over-whelming amount of emails from registered participants and interested teams asking if the race will still be hosted on the original date.

The answer is yes, the race will continue as planned. We have had numerous conference calls with the folks at LBL and they have assured us that we will be able to continue as planned with the LBL Challenge on April 4-5! Granted, it may cause a few more obstacles than anticipated during the race. It's very possible that trekking sections will be scattered with downed trees and tree tops.

However, with the help of a lot of people in the area, including the fine people at Wood N Wave bike shop in Grand Rivers, KY, we have been assured that all single track sections that are used in the race will be cleared by April 4th. These volunteers are spending thousands of man hours cleaning up the trails, and we really appreciate all of their help.
